Jun 23, 2010 · One common scenario is a bricked WZR-HP-G300NH, i.e., no web access and no ping response due to bad firmware or wrong operation, or you just want to try other firmware like OpenWrt. Luckily that the WZR-HP-G300NH has a robust bootloader and the router can be recovered by using TFTP, either in Windows, Linux or OSX. And to note, this method will work for going from buffalo pro dd-wrt or buffalo user friendly firmware to community dd-wrt. If you have 19154 Buffalo Pro DD-WRT on the WZR-HP-AG300H, you will have to flash using TFTP as buffalo installed a check in 19154 and perhaps future buffalo pro builds.
